Frazz,
I have a problem - the bottom part on one earring keeps dropping off because the metal part of the stud fits loosely into the butterfly hole.

Both have now fallen off and all I was doing was watching the telly - any adjustments with pliers would be noticeable so I have rung up Q who are sending me a prepaid label to return.I think the fact the butterfly is attached to the bottom part is making it heavy. I really love the style of the double drop so I am looking through the ones at JL's unfortunately they are pricier.

That's disappointing FP.

I did have to squeeze the butterfly a bit on them after trying with other studs, their posts must have been a bit thicker. I've got them on today and have been out, they are still secure. I did wonder how well the butterfly was welded to the earring part, I think I'll stick to just using the pearl stud and keep my fingers crossed.

Can you not try another pair in case you were just unlucky?

I bet they looked fab Frazz- such a lovely design.I have seen a similar pair on the John Lewis site- more expensive but the butterfly is not welded to the bottom part so I can use a pair of my own butterflies to keep them on if necessary. The post on the stud of the QVC one needs to be thicker on mine. Shame because I could see them making them in different colours if they are popular. Perhaps Ralphie will make some as they seem to be 'on trend'.

My John Lewis look alikes have arrived and fit much more snugly so I am pleased with the decision to send the QVC ones back. Such a shame about the Q ones as apart from the price the JL ones look the same( OK, they aren't falling out).
