Bare Minerals are 'so pure' that they make my face sting and break out. Do you still have to do that tap tap swirly dabby stuff with a brush to apply it?
I used to like Mohave Magic which was, I believe, one of the original mineral makeup lines but, of course, QVC stopped selling it.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
I use artists sable brushes. They are usually much cheaper and last much longer because they are meant to be in water. I've found in the past that cosmetic brushes fall apart when washed.
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
There is a big difference in price between sable and nylon brushes but I've had one of mine since I was about 16 and it's showing no signs of wear and tear (unlike me).

That's a splendid idea Nellie, if I used makeup brushes I would certainly pinch it. I really only wear (loads of !) eye makeup and a bit of foundation.

My elderly brush is for eye-shadow - I cut them down so they fit into a make-up bag (Kipling pencil case, actually).

I use a fine artist's brush for eyeliner which I dampen with Liz Earle Eyebright and use a solid or powder eyeliner. I'm rubbish with any other kind of eyeliner brush or applicator.
