They probably stood out as strange purchases for you also if it's normally only used on line trying to buy items in a shop would have flagged it up as odd but well done for spotting it RSB

This was a new one to us but Mr FP said the male voice was the same as on many other calls( he must be raking it in!) asking for his National Insurance number for some police department.
Fraudsters are calling unsuspecting people and pretending to be from Tesco before trying to get hold of their bank details over the phone. Dyfed-Powys Police has issued a warning after receiving a number of reports from people saying they had been called by someone claiming to be from the supermarket giant. The call, which police said was automated, tells the victim their order has been placed with Tesco and that their bank account will be debited by a sum of £350. The message then says: “If this is not the right amount, please press 1 to go through to our fraud team”. By pressing ‘1’, the member of the public is put through to a scammer who will attempt to gain as many personal details as possible, including bank details.
I had two calls this morning before 08:00. The voice gives them away doesn't it. Anyway, down went the phone.
They rang again this afternoon and Himself picked up. In his defence Jones was bored. He listened to the news that Amazon had taken a payment and a refund was due. Horror! How very dare they! "This is what you do." There then followed lengthy instructions on how to download AnyDesk( remote access software).
Now Jones knew that AnyDesk is kosher
"is used legitimately by IT professionals around the world, to remotely connect to their clients' devices and help them with technical issues. However, scammers can try to misuse AnyDesk (or any other remote access software) to connect to your computer and steal data, access codes, and even money. "
So he said he was installing it. He then proceeded to tell the scammer how grateful he was that they had got in touch. "What do you see?" "My computer." "Yes, but is it installing?" "Well something is happening." "Do you see a number?" "... Do you think I'm ....... stupid!" (He used a very naughty word).
I just had a mystery phone call and they told me I’d won £200 or two tickets for an Elvis Presley tribute concert. They then said to press 1 for the money, 2 for the show.
I’ve just had this text in case anyone else receives one. It’s nice (not) to know that some people have enough time on their hands to faff about doing this, but sad that some people will possibly click on the link. 😳
Has anyone else had this email? It's supposedly from the NHS, being highly suspicious I obviously haven't clicked the button so searched on line but couldn't find a mention of it not even on GOV.UK, so heads up as it could be a scam
