Another strange call today (from a mobile phone)telling me I had £900 taken from my Barclays Account (I do not have one). Suspect it is linked to yesterday’s call ..
Some peculiar people around.
Needless to say I said “really? Goodbye” and put the phone down…
I received an email from NatWest this morning thanking me for upgrading MyRewards to Argos Vouchers.
The email appeared to be 100%. I rang 159 and connected to NatWest to be greeted by a recording apologising that a large number of customers had accidentally been sent MyRewards statements with information that didn't apply their accounts.

Cannot believe some shyster has tried to get me already! My sister sent us an online Happy New Year card from a company she has sent to us from before. I clicked on the link in the email which appeared saying click here to download the card then I realised that the link to apple pay had come up with a £00.01 price! Fortunately I realised some clever so and so had placed this apple pay button immediately over where you click for the card company download. It’s a mean trick. As it was my iPhone as a precaution I cleared all history completely and did a shutdown. I hope I have got rid of any nasties.
I recieved an email today supposedly from one of my friends saying 'does this photo evoke memories' with a link, I didn't open it as unfortunately she died two years ago! Her email address isn't in my address book so I guess these scammers must have either accessed or cloned her account, shysters
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
I get a lot of those "photo" emails, Diamond Diva, supposedly from my Dad who obviously denies all knowledge of the things. The email addresses that show up are clearly not who they proport to be, it's a pathetic scam. Just ignore and delete.
