Can You See Me Now?

Our Chassis palled up with a female grey cat that lived at the top of our lane. Grey cat would come and call for her, they would set off up the lane together, occasionally 'brooping' at each other like 2 gossipy old ladies.
By mutual agreement they would stop half way up the lane where a dog lived. The dog couldn't get out of the gate, could only get a paw through.There they would sit, just out of paw reach and began a long lazy washing and grooming routine,occasionally stopping to stare insolently at the poor dog which, by this time, was hoarse, barking. After around 20 minutes or so, when the dog had been reduced to pathetic whimpers, they would lazily rise, and walk on. This was repeated daily. I always half expected Chassis and Grey to Hi-5 each other as they left.
