Ruby wants to sleep upstairs on Mummy and Daddy's bed!
Itchy's favourite bed was 26's and once there she was very reluctant to move. Every night when he went to bed he tried to move her but she growled at him! He was frightened she would bite him LOL
One of us had to go and get her off (usually getting her in a headlock) and put her in her own bed. 26 was a lot younger then btw.
Oh @itchy, I hope we don't come to that. Beds are out of bounds here. I've told her the rules, but ... I swear she was singing this Chase me Charlie, chase me Charlie Lost the leg o' me drawers Chase Me Charlie, chase me Charlie Won't you lend me yours
Itchy and Scratchy were only allowed to 'nap' on the beds Liv. They had to spend the night in their own beds. Like all well brought up children!
Scratchy was rather partial to the laundry basket but Itchy loved 26's bed as it is next to the radiator. Their official bed was a lovely padded one from the pet shop which was out in the back porch but like every other cat does, they preferred other places.
At the moment Domino's favourite sleeping place is in a rabbit bed (DS bought it for his rabbit when he lived elsewhere) - was clearing out a front bedroom and put it in the hall for a few moments and it was purloined by Domino ...
Funny enough when we had cats previously they were not allowed upstairs at all. Alf and Harvey have the run of the house, except for the kitchen, and both sleep on my bed at night if its cold. Harvey sleeps with me pretty much every night for at least some of the night.
I like being visited in the morning, they like me to know what the time is lol! Like Tinks, mine sleep on the bed for some of the time, especially when it's cold.
No cats on beds here. Not since I saw a worm waving at me when I was in student accommodation & my roommate invited in all passing cats. That vision will be with me for life!
I did wake up to a mouse being devoured one night!
That's why the cat flap only works one-way at night lol!
Aaargh
Much as I loved our cats I would never have let them sleep on/in the bed. It was bad enough when the boys were toddlers and used to jump in some nights and wriggled/kicked all night.
Ruby's new red collar arrived today (at last)and Dang she can't get it off! Remember the terms Desert Storm? Shock & Awe? Well it's been a bit like that for Ruby
