Well that was disappointing, but not entirely unexpected.
Starting the game with two top defenders off sick, and losing a third early in the game, it was going to be tough. And we did well, taking the lead twice (Vardy penalties) but always conceding. By the end we were run ragged and they virtually strolled their last goal in.
But it's an FA Cup and a place in next season's Europa League, so still not a bad season.
I've never liked that square-jawed pony-tailed leek-munching shyster Gareth Bale.
I'll post this here because it's really football in general news...
It looks like Christian Eriksen had a heart attack during the Euro match between Denmark and Finland. He's awake and stable in hospital, and will most likely make a full recovery, but I read elsewhere that it's unlikely he'll kick a football in a professional capacity again.

I was in shock for most of last evening. I saw him fall and the medics doing cpr before the Captain got his team mates to form a barrier around him. It took a minute or two to register what was happening. Poor Christian, I can't see how he could play again.
Apparently there was upset with the BBC failing to stop footage being shown of Eriksen on the floor. They apologised afterwards, and there's photos on Google for any gore-mongers, but I won't post them here obvs.
At least he's going to be OK, just the playing career that will be over.
Another forum I visit has launched their predictions thread for the new season, but I'm not sure whether we want to do another one or not. Replies and views last season were roughly half of what we got in the first year, and I get the impression some are probably bored with it now.
Your thoughts? I won't be offended if you think we need a break, and we can always think of other ideas instead. Possibly.
Even though I am one of the few football fans on here I think you should leave it for next season @lewis. It's a lot of work setting it up and updating it for very little (no) thanks. I can understand people's indifference, if it was a thread on Tennis or Rugby I would have no interest in participating. I do hope however that I wouldn't be moaning about it all the time and asking every week "Is it over yet"?
I always chuckled at those comments, as a take of children on long journeys.
I don't mind if we skip things this year. I agree it is a lot of work, plus you have family matters likely to be taking up time for a while. Maybe a good time to have break.
