I was going to post up the relevant transfers in and out of "our" teams, but another big one was announced today and I'm not sure when the transfer window closes. I shall therefore leave that for now, but will mention that Jesus is to join Arsenal for £45m, announced today. I hope there will be no "hand of God" moments from the cheating shyster.
Meanwhile, any thoughts on next season which is only four weeks or so away? I don't know if I can keep up with the post match commentary again, but how about another predictions competition? I'd suggest we need eight names at least, same rules as before.
And in November we can have our usual World Cup Sweep which is always thrilling.

I suggest forget about the football commentary and match reports. No-one is interested apart from me and Cass.
I know match reports are no longer liked, and tbh I can't be arsed with writing them anyway, but there was a pre-season friendly today. There were probably several but again I can't be arsed checking.
Leicester 1-2 Notts County
Yep, we lost at home* to a team in the 5th tier (National League). And both goals we conceded were from set pieces. So it looks like the tactic of buying absolutely no-one in the transfer period and selling one of our best midfielders is going to have a great effect on our new season.
* "Home" today was not at the King Power, but the training ground at Seagrave. This is a marvellous state of the art place sadly wasted on our bunch of losers. It's also, as the crow flies, about half a mile from where my Dad lives, across the fields. He hates football. He'd fit in well here.
