I say yay, in moderation. I have had Botox and fillers a few years ago, didn't go for the full on 'Wildenstein' effect. I found the eyelift particularly good, really made a difference, as I have deepest eyes, and I would have it again, say if the Coglet got married. It's not something I'd do on a regular basis, and nobody said "what have you done" because the effects were very subtle, but I noticed a difference and I was pleased with the results.
On recommendation Maisie, my friend is a hairdresser, and one of her clients had been and then she went. The woman who did it is actually a dentist, so has medical knowledge and knew all about the nerves and facial muscles, I wouldn't have gone to someone who'd done a few hour course, then set themselves up in business.
Exactly the same set up here Cog. My hairdresser rents out the room above the salon to a beauty therapist and a dentist comes to the salon to carry out the botox jabs.
A friend of mine had botox to cure excessive perspiration - yes, needles in the armpits - but it works.
She was, however, persuaded to have the balls of her feet done so she could wear vertiginous heels without the pain. That was less successful and gave her what she described as "ball ache".
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
I can see why some people go for it in the media. I spotted Judy Finnegan on Loose Women a couple of weeks ago, and whilst I respect her for choosing not to have any work done, she did rather stand out and for all the wrong reasons.
