I've got a x7 magnification mirror and a x12 one ....... both can be held in the hand whilst applying mascara with the other hand etc. It was a bit of a shock when I first saw myself that close up though. okey1
I have never been so grateful for being short sighted as I am now. It means I can read and apply my makeup perfectly well without the need for a magnification mirror. Can't see a bloody thing two foot from my nose though but hey ho that's what contact lenses are for.

I'm so long sighted my eyes barely focus - and one is way worse than the other! I've just bought a 10x mirror which should be here tomorrow. It's not very big but it will do fine I am sure. It has suction pads so I can stick it to the big mirror when I need to. I just hope 10x is enough!
Mirror has arrived - yikes, 10x magnification is scary!!
I can see the lashes of my left eye quite well. As for the right, if I get the light just so I can probably just about manage....maybe 15x would have been better, though a lot scarier!
I struggle even with a mirror and most mascaras make my eyes sore, which is why I rarely bother with eye make-up. It looks good when I do ,especially the tight lining I learned from the forum. I like doing that and I find I don't really need to bother with mascara.
I've been using this mascara for nearly 3 weeks and I can safely say ............... it's made no difference. The lower lashes on my right eye are a little darker but all the rest are still blonde, so it's back to my usual mascara I think as I don't intend to walk around sporting the piebald effect. I hope the rest of you who are trying it have had a better result.
I forget some days too! The last couple of times I put it on I found I could see my lashes a bit better so I presume it is having an effect. I don't think I am putting enough on which won't be helping - partly because I can't see where I am putting it, but also because I can't hold my arms up high enough for very long. Plus, my co-ordination is a bit iffy (twitchy nerves making my arms and hands 'jump') so it is just as likely to end up on my eyelids or even my eyebrows.

Well done Liv. I am not brave enough. Many years ago at a salon I no longer use some eejit not only died my lashes but the skin under my eye. I had an interview the next day so I was not a happy client. Last time I went there and no mistake. I should have known when my eyes were stinging. Never ever had that elsewhere either.
