I use to buy it in Canada back in the day, fabulous stuff. It was like a thick gel and came in a metal tube? I use to come home stocked up, you couldn't get it here.
I have to say I can't actually see what the issue is with reapplying the darned stuff. I'm dark skinned so I suppose I would only need to reapply once, or twice if I'm in and out of the pool a lot, but its hardly a nightmare to slap a bit of sun lotion on.
Mind you if I had a fair skinned kiddiewink I might feel differently. Fortunately my boy is as dark skinned as his mam.

There is an article about foundationy things with SPF being useless but I won't be re-applying that! If I have foundation on I am not going out in the sun to get bronzed. If I want to sunbathe I will as Tinks points out , reapply the lotion.
Nellie I understand you would feel vulnerable but as the girl who used to go red after half an hour with the old suntan lotions I am living proof the one I use works.
I've never tried a once a day so I can't say I don't trust it or don't like it. I'm just happy with the ordinary stuff.
Think I might have said it earlier in this thread but my real concern isn't getting burnt, its getting bitten so I opt for the ones that have anti mozzie stuff in em. To stop being bitten I just slather myself in anti mozzie stuff morning, noon and night.
I react really badly to mozzie bites and have been so badly bitten years ago that my legs and feet were so swollen I couldn't get my shoes on!!

My flesh is very tempting to mozzies too Tinks- those QVC bracelets stink but they work. I have seen bracelets at Aldi too but don't know how good they are.
