I have been known to sneak the odd bottle of that home, DD. it's a heck of a lot cheaper than that posh stuff! It might not taste quite as good but, by the time you've added all the gubbins, it is perfectly drinkable!
Homemade apple and walnut coleslaw for tea - all beautifully shredded/grated/chopped by the processor. It did very well, not too noisy and I was surprised at just how much it held. And my hands are well pleased - salad nights will be so much easier from now on!
Lidl has beaten the rest of the high street – including upmarket rivals – to be named supermarket of the year. The German budget chain has become Britain’s fastest growing supermarket on the back of efforts to target middle Britain shoppers. It is the first time that Lidl has been named supermarket of the year by the Good Housekeeping Institute.
Apparently when we were away, Lidl introduced a new beauty range. I saw an advert during the week somewhere - I am interested in their new shampoo and conditioner. We will be doing our shopping tomorrow so I hope our branch has some new goodies. Has anyone seen them yet?
Well that was a waste of time today in Lidl. The new beauty items hardly blew me away. The shampoo and conditioner I was interested were all gone and I was looking at an empty shelf! The make up items look completely naff, cheap and nasty. You would get better stuff in Primark. Oh well.
