I am not really a mosher but I did like like some of Axl 'porky pig' Rose & the boys' tunes, mainly Welcome to the Jungle and Sweet Child O Mine.
AC/DC were nearly superstars when we moved to Australia. Obviously being from there and Angus and Malcolm Young were immigrants like me. Their music was not my thing but I do like 'Whole lot of Rosie' or whatever it is called.
Silver Machine - saw Quarks Strangeness and Charm tour and they didn't play this. I was seriously miffed! Run to the Hills Stairway - just had to be there. All Night Long - although Since You've Been Gone is better and one of my all time favourites. Jump
Running those close were Highway to Hell, School's Out, Black Night, Animal, Breaking the Law, Enter Sandman, Ace of Spades, Whisky in the Jar......... what the heck, I like 'em all!
Free Bird would have been good, as would Surrender, Fool for Your Loving, Pour Some Sugar, Let's get Rocked and many, many more. Oh, I just love the whole genre - my only issue is that with all my neck problems I can't headbang any more.
I like Welcome to the Jungle. Old Porkie doesn't look like that any longer
No he doesn't. He is a right Lard Arse now. He never interested me anyway - I always liked Duff and Slash. I liked it when they formed Velvet Revolver but unfortunately they swapped one lunatic frontman for another.
Another major favourite - maybe borderline for this category? - but my spirits lift big time when that guitar intro starts. It is my phone ringtone for firstborn as he likes it too.
