I'm just watching Mary Berry whilst I do a bit of sorting out. I can't possibly say she doesn't look her age but she has a life and vibrancy that means her wrinkles just don't matter. She has a pretty face and bright twinkly eyes. Ageing gracefully.
I was reading this this morning. That photograph of Donatella Whatshername is shocking & the lighting doesn't help. Not all surgery is a disaster. Both Judi Dench & Helen Mirren (contrary to what Sandra Howard says in the article), have been helped.
Sensibly, I my view, they opted for improving specific areas rather than the tight as a drum look.
Sandra Howard has no bags under her eyes. Lines yes, but no bags. She is either very, very fortunate or she has had eye bag removal (blepharoplasty) surgery.
if you want to see awful examples of overstretched faces, go on a Caribbean cruise. Last year, my friend and I started the cruise by playing 'spot the facelift', by the end of it, we were playing 'spot who hadn't had a facelift', and came to the conclusion it was just the two of us
I don't have any objection to people having face lifts, it's their money and their faces, but I seriously wonder who did such appalling work. If I were to go under the knife, I'd want it subtle so I still looked like me, just better. When I had Botox and fillers a few years ago, even my family didn't know, people just thought I look 'rested' rather than puffed up and taut.
