It might be classed as medical, but I donāt think that cosmetic surgery is essential when people like cancer patients canāt get appointments. It would be more understandable if the surgery was for a facial disfigurement, but getting older isnāt in that class. (Just my opinion š)

" But her complexion has been transformed thanks to Dr Judy Todd, one of the UK's top aesthetic clinicians. Over the past year Judy has secretly attended three appointments at Dr Todd's Synergy Clinic in Glasgow to undergo the latest micro-needling and radio frequency treatment called Morpheous8, costing £1,500 per session."
To the best of my knowledge Dr. Judy Todd is not a surgeon dealing with cancer, nor any of the others at the Synergy Clinic, they are not NHS.
It is of course, disgraceful that seriously ill patients are having appointments and treatment delayed but I cannot see the connection as that clinic would not be treating them.
There isnāt a connection because as Yorko said, āmoney talksā and yet cancer patients who canāt afford to go privately for treatment are waiting for their treatment. Whether Judy Murray is pleased with the results or not, I personally think itās insensitive of her to post the photos during the current crisis that the world is facing. Itās just a case of vanity in my opinion.
Chiropody is not an unnecessary treatment because itās linked to general health. Having your eyebrows and nails done is not necessary at the moment, in my opinion. Iām sure that no oneās movement is impeded by not having their eyebrows threaded or their nails done, whereas not being able to access a chiropodist or physiotherapist could have a detrimental effect on someoneās mobility.
People are free to do what they want, but posting photos suggests that someone wants a reaction to whatever they have had done.
Iāll now ābow outā of this particular thread rather than cause a negative āatmosphere.ā
Nothing wrong with your post, Liv. Interesting to contrast Jude's results with conventional surgery which often results in a wind-tunnel effect and stretches credulity, as well as the face.
He neck looked much smoother, too. Felicity Kendal, on TV last week, had her face stretched and smoothed but it was sitting on a turkey neck and her hands were old and wrinkly, too, it looked most odd, as if she was wearing a mask of her old face. Even Sam noticed and wondered what she saw when she looked in the mirror.
