Nellie, how are the eyebrows now? i have to report some success with Benefit Browvo Conditioning Primer - my eyebrows lost definition towards my nose (not a mono brow) since using this I am pleased to report a marked improvement...
I don't fancy using it at night and can't go out with no brow make-up so forgot. I'm annoyed with myself because I barely left the house for weeks when I had the coughing virus - just think, they could be like Denis Healy's by now!
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
I’ll now own up to the fact that I’ve ordered the Essy stuff after seeing liv’s post. One side effect of an underactive thyroid is hair loss and, although I still have a fairly good head of hair, I want to keep it that way. I usually use Plantur 39 tonic.
If I see any results after using it I will report back. It’s due tomorrow but, probably because the word is now out, it’s £19.99 and not the £15 stated in that newspaper article.
Toril, my hair was falling out big time. I was finding it everywhere, even on my pillow & stuck to my face in the morning. 36 bought Essy for me and I've stopped shedding and can see sprouting hair. Took a while mind. I thought while I'm at it, I'll try it on my eyebrows and
I’m really grateful that you posted about it, liv, because I’d never heard of it. I don’t think I’ll use it on my eyebrows though because they’re blonde but, more importantly, they’re hidden under a fringe, 😉
Just a quick question about the Essy …… does it absorb quickly or does it leave the hair looking greasy? With long hair, I really don’t fancy having to wash it every day because it’s a bit of a faff to say the least.
It does absorb quickly Toril and I only need one or two pumps. I only use it around the hairline and try and keep my fingers on my scalp, massaging the roots rather than spreading it through my hair. I massage it in about 9 at night after I've washed my face and done all the other messing about before bedtime.
I was planning to use it at night after I’ve messed about removing my make up etc. I’ve read the reviews and, hopefully, I’ll get the good results that you and the reviewers have mentioned. 🤞
I hope it works for you too Toril I would advise not using too much. My bottle seems to squirt out rather a lot in one shot. The other thing is be patient. It took a while with me
Returning to the Essy product, I didn’t find it made any difference. However, a friend pointed me in the direction of Nioxin shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment and it’s really done the trick. I hardly lose any hair at all now and there is regrowth. I’ve been using it for a few months.
I’ve heard good things about the Ukbrow products so am not surprised that you’ve seen pleasing results. I’ve only used the eyelash serum, also with success. I think the brow product would be wasted on me though because my eyebrows are blonde and not too sparse. I guess I should really use an eyebrow product to darken them but instead I’ve chosen a easier method ….. a fringe.
