I had a look on their website and I don't think OH will be ordering. Expensive. And that"s without changing to euros and postage over here - that's if they did ship over here.
I'll volunteer to try anything you like Itchy lol.
Now interestingly I like all the ones mentioned so far! My favourite is Red Roses. I've worn it for years and I'm wearing it today. English Pear and Freesia is also lovely and I think if you like one you'll like the other.
I also like Blackberry & Bay and Earl Grey & Cucumber. Those two were ones I wouldn't have thought I would like but I do. Particularly B&B. EG&C is a chypre so again not my normal choice but it is soft and pretty as it dries down.
I also wear Pomegranate Noir and I can honestly say when I first sniffed it I did love it but thought it would be too spicy for me to wear. I wear it and love it and other than Lipstick Rose by Frederic Malle, it is the perfume I get asked about the most. I no longer wear LR as at £150 a bottle I just can't justify it, even to myself.
There are a few I really don't like. The Bluebell one. That's a real no no for me. Amber & Lavender is too heady for me. Orange Blossom gives me a headache. I'll try anything else you like lol.
Jo Loves seem to have a nice range of fragrances - Has anyone tried them? Perhaps there could be an advent calender in this range ...
I Googled the Jo Loves range and there's a new one called something like Plum and Leather that sounds interesting.
Sadly, there's only one shop and it's in Pimlico - about a mile from my old office, who knew! - but I never have occasion to go there now so I don't suppose I'll try them.
We could try pestering her for an advent calendar.........
"Dear Ms Malone, How would you like some volunteers to test your perfumes for an advent calendar? We have previous experience of similar high end items but have not let that deter us............."
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
Thanks Tinks. The Red Roses one interests me, I will have a sniffter when we are next in town.....just to pointOH in the right direction you understand! I had blackberry and bay in the gift set my boss bought me and that was lovely. In fact I liked them all.
It seems as if there is a mail order service, Itchy - risky paying all that money if you find you don't like the smell and hadn't been able to try it before buying.

I love it Itchy. To me it smells more like pink roses but that's just about the roses in my garden. It's clean and fresh. It's slightly citrusy to start with and then it's a real wallop of rose with a touch of Violet. It's supposed to have a honey base note but I am devilled if I can smell it.
Is it a pain to get to a Jo Malone counter? I can send you some of those cards you sniff if you like. )
Mr Tink's sister says "Tinks, you must be here. I smell roses".
Thanks Tinks (again) but we do have a large selection of Jo Malone in the Brown Thomas store (it's pretty posh in there, my boss works in the office). That's where OH bought my JM last Christmas. They have all the candles and body lotions/bath products too.
When I said that there was no mail order, I meant the new Jo Loves range which looks nice.
I will frogmarch OH into Brown Thomas soon. He will be delighted.
