I know it's probably the time of year, but Millie and Boots are scoffing and asking for food all day! The feeding schedule has gone out of the window at the moment lol!

My two are the same Frazz not sure if it's just them trying it on or if their bodies are telling them to put on their winter weight. Mine are nearly four and this is the first year I've really noticed it the shorter days are definitely playing a part though, they've started wanting food an hour earlier than usual. Mid afternoon I gave them both extra biscuits and Saffy ate all of her's and then pushed Harry aside so she could finish his off and that's unheard of!
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong

The seasons mean nothing to Boris- he is greedy all year long. Katya is more ladylike. On Friday, October 1st, they will have been with us 4 years (birthdays in June).
The Princess gets her breakfast at 8am and her dinner at 5.15pm, doesn't stop the moaning and whining at 4.30pm and acting like she hasn't been fed for a month.
Part of the genetics with Alf and Harvey is that they have a very different summer and winter coat. All cats shed in spring//summer but the boys distinctly fluff up for winter. It's most noticeable around the mane/ruff which is still there is summer but blumming impressive in winter. Alfie, in particular, chubbs up for winter. He's pushing 8kgs in winter and usually under 7kgs in summer. Harvey doesn't seem to have such a fluctuation. Although I think he might this year. He's a big ol puss really and finally has started to fill out.
So yes. They are eating like small horses at the minute lol.
Atm she's eating all the hours god sends, but other times she's not bothered. At these times we know full well she's eating all the hours god sends next door.
Ruby has puffed up - fur & body weight. She was quite a frail looking little thing when I brought her home, weighing only 3Kg - 6lbs 9 ozs in real money. Her fur was coming out in handfuls & her eye lids seemed slack. I was told she had been on Purina dried food, but twice a week she had wet food. It's not gone quite to plan. She moves to either her dry or wet dish depending on her mood & I do indulge her preferences.
Other things have not gone to plan either. * Cats sit on a cat seat/ bed/ lap, not on the furniture X * Cats do not lie on my bed X * Cats come immediately when I rattle the Dreamies packet X
Alf is just the same as Ruby. Does what the hell he likes when he likes. Has me running about at the swish of a tail. Harvey is less bumptious but not far behind.
The only rule they both abide by is no cats on the work surfaces. And no cats on the dining table. That latter is really no cats on the dining table when I'm in the house but the former is a rule never to be broken.
