Lol Snarly, I was a slave to the pair of them! It's not too clear a picture as its a photo of a photo. These two were around before I'd heard of digital cameras but Sach as he grew up, was pale biscuit coloured with a touch of white bib and paws. Which made it easier to spot him in the dark on the many occasions I was out looking for him at midnight!
We probably won't get another one till he goes which could be anything from a month to several years given his age!
That was my dilemma, with Millie being ten. It's been will I, won't I for 15 months now. I had made up my mind to wait and get another rescue cat when Millie had gone. But I miss Jasper so much and when I heard them all talking Boxing Day and there was one black one, well that was it.
Go for it Frazz. I reckon Harvey would accept a kitten willingly. Alfie would absolutely not lol. He only just tolerates Harvey sometimes and he loves Harvey lol.
I'm not sure for how long though, things are not going well with Millie. She is yowling and has attacked him, will see how it goes the next couple of days. Am hoping once he smells of me rather than his mum she will settle down, but I can't risk him getting injured. He a feisty little thing, he's not scared of her at all! The owner will have him back if necessary, there are lots of people who will home him. smiley-sad050
He's tiny and very cute, we had a good cuddle while Millie was out and he fell asleep in my arms, and he loves his mice on springs! Fingers crossed it works out, he's adorable.
Oooh he's gorgeous Frazz, aren't kitten's just adorable? Fingers crossed that things settle down, when I got Holly Katie was a year old and absolutely hated her but Holly was persistant and wore her down and they soon became inseparable dancing cat
P.S love the mice on springs toy !
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
Beautiful!! I think as long as the little one isn't scared it should come good.
We tried once to introduce two kittens but the little one was terrified of the bigger one and it seemed cruel to keep trying. Sadly we has to take the little one back and we kept the thug lol.
I'm sure things will settle down - it's been no time at all. I seem to recall our second kitten being seriously hissed at by the first one when we brought him home. He hid behind the sofa for a bit, but it all worked out. I'm sure Millie is just making sure he knows his place and once she thinks he has got the message it will all calm down.
Boots is fine, I put his box in the bathroom last night with his bits and pieces so he was safe, and Millie could come and go with me. She is hissing rather than yowling today and has put herself to bed now. She scoffs his food if there is any left and Boots reciprocates with hers lol!
He is very affectionate and comes for cuddles which gives me a good chance to stroke and rub him. He loves his box, which came with the custom cut door, Millie can only get her fat head through it!
