I think they'll come down in price once the patent runs out, once others start manufacturing their own versions of it if Dysons will have to lower their price if they want to stay ahead in the market

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
Although I can afford to buy one, they'd have to come down a lot in price before I bought one. But that's just me. 😉 The hair dryer/s I've got serve me well.
I also think that QVC must have bought too many, considering the amount of times they advertise it and feature it in beauty shows. Now they're devoting one hour shows to it. I've got better things to do than waste an hour watching lessons on how to dry my hair.
I'm glad that those of you who have bought it are really pleased with the results you get though. I'll just stick with the "through the hedge backwards" style.

If it’s one thing I like to get right it’s my hair and a Dyson will do that for me every time. No more bad hair days. A pleasure to use, especially if like me arthur has begun to make things like drying your hair more difficult as it’s really light. Cuts down the drying and styling time too. Now cars I can take or leave as long as it gets me from A to B but I wouldn’t let my Dyson go easily.
Toril I'm with you I wouldn't pay that sort of money for a hairdryer either, not even on 4 easy pays. I watched the QVC video and in all honesty I wasn't impressed with the presenters hair or the 'after shots' of the models, they'd have to be half the price for me to consider buying one.

Went to the hairdresser’s this morning. She knows I treated myself to a Dyson. She was sceptical like a lot of you but out of the blue this morning she told me that the Dyson had improved the look of my hair. Not only is it in better condition but when I come in to the shop to get my hair cut ( not having washed it by the way) she says the hair doesn’t look like it needs doing. She is impressed. So am I!
Wahay! I washed my hair this morning and it's so quick and easy to dry. When my head is on the wonk, as it was last week, my scalp hurts all the time. Even just to touch my scalp is painful. So anything that makes quick and speedy work of styling my hair is welcome.
