The combination of any of these shlebs with Diamonique is a huge turn off for me. Who does buy stuff branded with these 'big' names ? Do they lead to greater sales?
I had an e-mail from Q with highlights of the week. I must be sickening for something because nothing appealed to me at all
I wouldn't be swayed just because a so-called celebrity had allegedly endorsed something - not that I consider the bra woman to be a celebrity and quite why she got a peerage I do not know! - but I bought a canary coloured Diamonique ring from her range in Clearance for about £10 and it's very nice.
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
I think that's the one cut that eek doesn't work as well in. I don't know why. I've bought a couple of pieces only be be disappointed but you might have hit on the explanation there Frazz.
I bought a pretty eek ring just before Christmas with MOP shoulders. Pretty and it was less than £15 all in. Haven't bought anything else though for a while. Think it's really because, like many us, I've got all the basics and the newer designs just don't seem to catch my eye. Me wallet is grateful at least.
They don't have many alternatives to Eek these days. At one time they had lots of ranges, all sorts to suit all preferences. Like Snarly, I used to be a fan of Carolyn Pollack/ Southwestern Silver to name but one range
Oh and me Liv. All those different semi precious stones set in silver. I loved it. In fact I am wearing a black calcite heart pendant today and a black agate heart ring. Both from QVC but there's nothing vaguely like it any more.

Was that recently Nellie , it sounds a real bargain? I had a look on Q but couldn't see anything similar.
On another note, I can't recall seeing Genetta and her Veronese range in the recent past?
They have all disappeared over the last few years, down to becoming too expensive at a time people were having to cut back I think.
Veronese started doing a few white gold pieces, which were nice. Haven't notice a show being on for a long time now, maybe the price of gold has affected them as well.
I popped into a local gift store this afternoon wanting to take a look at their lovely display case of sparkly silver jewellery......they do have a sale on.
But it wasn't there...
So I asked a sales lady who told me that Swarovski have withdrawn all their stock and now only sell their goods in their own retail stores or online. Apparently they no longer have third party retailers selling any of their goods! Hmmm.

No not recently, Sacha, it must have been about three years ago.
I usually look at the jewellery in Clearance every couple of weeks and filter out stuff I don't want to see, work from the lowest prices upwards and stop at around £20. Sometimes there is an interesting find - Diamonique's simulated opal is pretty good.
There are so many ranges that I miss and things I regret not getting when they were relatively inexpensive.
