Thank you @tinkerbelle! I'll pay postage of course. I'm going to source Lili Lolo as Nellie mentioned a trial size in that range. Might as well look at what Q stocks too. I can send it back if I turn orange.
It's medium Liv. Ping me your address and I'll get it in the post. It's a 5ml I think so it ought to be just an ordinary stamp but I'll find out when I come to post it. )
Just a quick update I bought two samples from Lily Lolo in pale shades as recommended by Nellie @itchy mentioned Lidl's CC cream & that rang a bell. I found I had that in Natural, never opened 25 gave me her Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser in Nude @tinkerbelle very kindly sent me her Decleor sample in medium
Very little spillage if you tap well, buffing doesn't take long. Unless I'm going somewhere special that's all I use, takes me 2-3 minutes. Occasionally, mineral eyeshadow and the mascara that was recommended last year some time, plus tight-lining - this takes me a lot longer!
All the powdery/Buffy type foundations make me break out. For several years, I have used a liquid MAC one, a professional long wear one according to the bottle. As I was running low, I went to buy another, only to find that they have changed it to a cream in a tube. Despite their insistence that it is exactly the same, it is chalky on me and the color is no longer true. I am back to the drawing board while I eke out the bit of the liquid I have left.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
Someone on eBay might have some of the old stock if you don't mind taking a chance with that Cass. I bought some old favourite Revlon lipsticks from a seller last year and they are fine.
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
I use Becca backlighting primer with a tiny bit of Doll 10 foundation on top. I tried Bare Minerals and Laura Geller in the past, plus much cheaper High Street products, but what I use now gives me the best results.
I saw a presentation of it this morning and although I do rate the backlight primer I'm not buying the TSV. The model probably looked shiny because she either had day cream on or she whacked far too much backlighter on. I've not managed to get that shiny look yet, thankfully, but my skin does have a light dewy look which I assume is what Becca originally intended.
The foundation certainly didn't appeal to me, nor did the under eye stuff because I'm fortunate enough not to have dark circles under my eyes. I personally think less is more and some of these beauty TSVs would result in the 'Aunt Sally' look if everything was slapped on at the same time as most include a blusher which I've never used and don't need (although the Becca TSV was the exception as there was no blusher.)
