Someone on a Craft Forum I visit has posted that Julian Ballantyne has started a new company called Craft Nation TV. It has a twitter account. He needs to explain about the last disaster before he does this.

More to the point neither did his suppliers and presenters Frazz! Some are back in work but I noticed Anna Cookson has tweeted on the new twitter account.
With Hochanda up and running, I wonder how well his new project will do. Hopefully he'll do better than last time because he's a very personable guy.
He certainly wouldn't fit in at QVC any more because he was never 'up himself' or welded to an iPad or pushy like 90% of the current QVC presenters are. (Just my opinion)
Is this a case of walking away from debts and starting up with a new company name to carry on? I hope not, but I suspect many people were left in the lurch when TCC folded. (Is it Kanban who have done this several times too?) Julian was never anywhere near my list of favourite presenters but I wouldn't have had him down as someone who would do that. You have to wonder though.
Might not have been his choice to walk away. Unless he was the majority shareholder it could have been forced on him. They've clamped down on this now though. I think you can now only have two goes and then you can't be a company director for x years. Might be three goes. Either way tis a bit crap.

Certainly is for the people who found the goods they had paid for were locked in a warehouse and the presenters who were owed fees and the companies who had provided the goods.
