National Vanilla Milkshake Day today, so that should calm everyone down.
I'm still hoping for a National Water day because I don't drink milk either. 😜 I never have it in the house unless I know a friend is coming for coffee. When the ex comes round he brings a small container with milk in so he can have a . Him Ooop North doesn't have milk either and prefers almond milk on his cereal. I don't have cereal so that's not a problem for my breakfasts.
Anyone who just drops in has to have Coffeemate which is there for emergencies.
I hadn't seen this thread until this morning, so imagine my surprise when I opened the link and found that there is a National Herpes Day! On closer inspection, it turned out that it was to celebrate 'Heroes', not herpes. I have redirected myself to the thread about varifocals.....perhaps I do need glasses, after all....
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
On Monday evening, in an attempt to get a cooling breeze, we took a drive along the seafront and happened upon a fire in an empty pub. The new owners of the building/site have reached a stalemate with the council about the redevelopment plans so we assume this wasn't an entirely unexpected fire
Anyway, fire engines and police cars were just beginning to block off the carriageway nearest this building but I was aghast at the number of people on our side of the road who stopped in their tracks and leapt out of their cars to take selfies with the fire in the background!
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
