Has anyone ever managed to order something from QVC USA?
I came across two sites that explained they would set up a proxy address to register at QVC

First you register with --- to have your unique US address and leave this address at the QVC site. Once the items you purchased from QVC arrive at ---- warehouse, we would forward to your international address with discounted shipping rates.

There's something over there that I need!

It sounds a bit complicated Liv - would you have to get it sent to somewhere in the US and then posted on to you?

Yes, that's the way it seems to work. You set up a QVC account using the address this company provides (box number?), place your order & it's picked up from the delivery address and taken to this company's warehouse. It is then shipped to your address in the UK.
Sounds straightforward, but you never can tell.

Ironically, I didn't discover QVC when living in Florida but have since got Mr Nell's old boss to order me a couple of things and send them as "presents" thus avoiding customs duty. I got the impression she didn't want to repeat the process so haven't asked again.

Land's End sell different clothes in the US but will let you order using your English customer number but charge slightly more for postage.

I'm unwilling to sign up just yet. Mulling I am. I just hoped someone had either experience of the system or knew of someone who had, you know -a friend of a friend LOL
