Just seen a trailer for a new program, they claim that the average family eats out or has take away three times a week! Not sure who's having my share because I certainly don't and I don't think I know anyone who does, are you an average family? Eating1
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
We have takeaway souvlaki most Friday nights. We also have a Taverna meal with the running club after the run on a Sunday and an occasional meal out about once a month. However, we would think twice if we were still in the u.k. as eating out is much more expensive there.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
I have one takeaway a year, usually to celebrate my son's birthday. Before I moved out, we used to have an Indian takeaway every Friday because I didn't fancy cooking after a long week at school. My son and the ex now have them about once a month, to give my son a break from the kitchen as he does 99% of the cooking for them both.
So if the 'average' number of takeaway meals is allegedly three a week, I'm definitely not average. 😜

Rare treat here as Mrs M cannot stand the smell let alone the taste of Indian food. This is annoying as I love it, but I'm restricted to indulging only on the rare occasion she's out on a works do. Then me and the Moodysons order in a feast from The Indian Cottage.
I've had to cut back on eating out the last year, but normally at least once a month. Take-away probably every 2-3 months, mostly Indian, occasionally Chinese. I've been hankering after fish & chips lately, must be 12 months since I had some. There is a good F&C shop just a few minutes away, I think I will pay a visit next week now we been talking about it.

Takeaways are very rare but we do go out for meals regularly and I lunch out without Mr FP as well, usually when he is golfing. That’s only fair as he eats at the golf club after a game.
I eat out at least once a week for dinner, sometimes twice and usually lunch out every couple of weeks. Meals out are usually nice pubs or Italian, Chinese or Indian restaurants. Posh places are for treats and celebrations.
I don't often have takeaways and if I do it's usually as an alternative to going out. Sometimes I have a takeaway because I'm just too tired to cook or eat but that's blue moon territory. I'd more likely go for a ready meal than a takeaway but again that's rare.
