I nipped in to Burtons this morning as I needed a pair of jeans in a hurry and I had a £50 gift voucher that I got last Christmas still knocking about. I haven't shopped there for years and I was surprised how much lovely stuff they actually had. Let's just say that I came out £106.05 worse off than when I went in. The 5p was for the carrier bag, the robbing dogs. :-)
I haven't looked in there for a while either. Baby Tink likes River Island for every day t shirts and jeans. I mainly buy him designer stuff as presents these days. Bought him a Ralph Lauren polo shirt last week to put away for Christmas. He wears jeans for work but they have to wear a shirt with a collar so polo shirts are a good option for him. They have the newer soft touch ones now that I know he likes.
I buy Ralph Lauren from the outlets Itchy. He gets the shirts he loves and I don't get quite such a whack in the wallet.
There is a outlet village up near Dublin. It has all the big brands apparently....Lulu Guiness too. I have never been there and I would love a visit. 28 and his girlfriend have been there a few times. I might speak nicely to OH and see if we can go there before Christmas. It's nearly a 3 hour drive.
