They are lovely Cass. Hand crafted cards mean so much more because of the time and thought invested in them.
For my sins, I find myself attending a "Christmas Craft" day on Thursday with a woman I've met at the U3A - I envisage nothing being produced that will see the light of day.
You will surprise yourself Nellie. One of my favourite TV Craft presenters always says it’s only a bit of card after all if something isn’t quite what you expect. As with most things if you practice you get better which is why I am apologising in advance for the Advent Calendar you are about to receive as it was my first one. I admit to over embellishment.
I only started when I left work, so hardly very experienced. I came to cardmaking through scrapbooking, which I still do and came to scrapbooking through collaging family photographs. Before that, knitting and crochet were my hobbies and passion but not much call for it these days as it's mostly too hot to keep cool enough hands.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
The important thing is to do something you enjoy. I havn't seen any of your cards, FP, but the mini-album is great and we are always our own harshest critic.
