I wasn't going to watch, this time round, as I hate that we are 'played' . We all know that they will push the ones that they can get a quick spinoff show from, as cheaply as possible. We call it the Stacey Solomon effect. Jamie is established and in work. Iain has his radio show, podcasts, and voiceovers but Toff has become hugely popular on Instagram, and has the young followers who will spend money. We picked her out early on as the 'Golden One' for all those reasons. This does not detract from the fact that she was cheerful, willing, and gave 100% in all the tasks and entertained us.It's just a shame that it has gone the way of Big Brother, which back in the beginning, was a fascinating programme.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
I agree about the early series of Big Brother - I found the first couple fascinating as they were exactly what the producers intended them to be, interesting experiments about how complete strangers could live harmoniously together in unusual circumstances. I seem to recall they undertook proper tasks to earn food - like keeping chickens and tending their own vegetbles.
I watched every moment of Series 1 and 2 but gave up when the contestants became wise to what behaviour would get them the most air time.
Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
