I was a teacher for enough years to know what children sound like arguing in the playground without sitting up late to hear them emanate it. It’ll be the usual slanging match that happens every time that America approaches an election.
I obviously didn’t stay up to listen to it but have heard snippets of it on the news. I’ll keep most of my opinions to myself barring the fact that Trump managed to highlight what a delightful person he is (not.) He’s rude, he talks tripe (particularly regarding Coronavirus) and personally he makes my skin crawl. If I was American, I’d be looking to emigrate as it’s frightening that someone like him is head of the most powerful country in the world.
I woke up about 2am, watched for about 20 minutes before switching off. Couldn't make out what most of it was about as they were shouting over each other all the time, and the moderator was unable to maintain control. It was embarrassing.
Don't like Biden anymore than Trump - what a choice!
Talking to an American on another forum yesterday, he says there's nothing to choose between them. Democrats are now almost as far right as Republicans and the whole situation is hopelessly depressing. Not to mention bad news not just for America but for the rest of the world.
