I am totally hooked on this program I came across accidentally a while back.
Unless it is something very simple and small as a one-off, I cannot abide tattoos myself.
What fascinates me is most of the clients have got something very small, albeit distasteful, they want hidden and they come out with something hideous, usually in colour, and absolutely huge, horrible! The pain they go through as well! One tonight had just three small words on one of his buttocks and left with a life-size skull over it!
My stepdaughter's half-brother was showing one off he had had done on his thigh a few months ago. It was plain black and grey, over a large area and with a fairly complicated design. It cost him £3,500.00!!
The only one I think looks quite nice on a man, is the simple narrow rope or chain around the upper arm.
My friend's daughter has the cutest tattoo ever. She was born with little toe joined to the next one on her left foot. It's something that she was embarrassed about as a child and hated being bare foot. She's a beautiful girl. Pretty wee blond cherub with a gorgeous smile. She's grown in confidence over the years and to really symbolise getting over her "twin toes" she had a tattoo of a tiny pair of scissors and a dotted line on her toes.
I'm sure most of you know that Alfie and Harvey were the result of me pleading with Baby Tink not to have some beastly tattoo on his 18th and him agreeing not to do it. Then saying "you know I agreed not to have that tattoo? Well can I have a kitten instead?" I'm now not quite sure whether he wanted the bloody tattoo in the first place or whether he was always angling for a kitten. Or two.
