I swore I'd never visit this part of the forum, but I've just wasted an hour of my life trying to create a QVC account.
They say I already have one account through my email address, I most certainly do not. So I made a new email address and they give me the same message. How the feck do I order something from this godforsaken bunch of shysters if they won't let me make an account?
Mrs M has presented me with a shortlist of three rings (pick one) that she might like as a Xmas pressie. Can't buy one if the twots won't let me make an account.
That's a very kind offer Nellie, I'll PM you the details in the morning as my head is mashed right now. I shall never purchase from the shysters again mind.

Very romantic. Is it possible someone else had an account with your email address, someone you know? You will get the after Christmas mbg if Mrs M does not like your purchase.

Yes, Mrs M no doubt has an account with our email address, so I tried a new personal email account but that gave the same problem.
She's chosen three rings she likes, I've to pick one so it's technically a surprise she's guaranteed to like.
When I set up my account years ago, I did ring them and it was done in minutes. I must say that I've never had a problem whenever I've rung customer services with a query, complaint or similar and I've never had to wait for more than a few seconds to get through. I usually order via the app or via QCut.
Hope you get it sorted, Mr. M.
It is also good to shop around as many of the items they sell can be purchased elsewhere (despite what they say) and at a considerably lower price and often with free P&P. But if she wants a ring that's exclusive to QVC, then that bit of advice is no good whatsoever.
All sorted, I rang them up and they took the order over the phone. Seems I had an account there in 1997 and their system was battling against what I was typing in.
She was very nice and updated all my details, obviously we've moved house since 1997 and my debit card has been renewed a few times, all up and running again now. Not that I'll be making a habit of buying from QVC, I'll no doubt be making the same call in another 20 years.
Thanks again Nellie, for your kind offer of assistance.
