Our best friends's son is getting married soon, so as soon as we got the invite, I started looking for my outfit. It 'would' have cost me over £400 if I'd paid full price for everything, but of course I didn't . I got a lovely BNWT Jacques Vert dress from Ebay, RRP £189, for £22, sounds horrible, but it's silk, yellow background with purple flowers on, then I bagged a Country Casuals jacket RRP £149 for the mega bargain price of £5, it's silk and linen mix, in the lighter shade to match the flowers in the dress. Then the hunt for shoes began, again, Ebay came up trumps, lovely pair of strappy purple shoes, this time to match the darker purple of the flowers, originally from BHS's bridal range £30, also bought for £5, and finally I've just received a fascinator from someone who's selling off her stock, a dark purple pillbox style with feathers, veil and pearls RRP £35, won for £5.69. In the summer, I popped into BHS, and found a bag from their wedding range in purple, reduced to £3.75. I do wonder why people buy things and then don't end up wearing them.

Ive been growing my hair since having it chopped a couple of months ago, so it's a better length now, so my little fascinator will sit at a jaunty angle.
