Effie is playing with a string attached to a stick, but Millie has joined in. Millie hasn't "played" in about 10 years, apart from the occasional tail-chasing fit.
Awwww, our Celeste hadn't played for years until Kirsty's female kitten started to get the cat toys out of the basket and now they have an uneasy truce and she has been playing for a few months.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
Must be something in the air - since Saturday Domino has taken to sleeping/laying in his litter dome (clean, of course), just waiting for this phase to pass …
Wrong thread, but going back to the photo I posted the other day of Millie playing dead on the path, we thought she'd suffered the real thing today.
Moodyson texted as I was setting off to Scarborough to say a cat fitting Millie's description perfectly had been run over on the main road round our estate, the notice on Guisborough Facebook even mentioned the bright pink collar. It did sound a bit further than she would normally wander, but we were concerned because the cat had been taken to a vet but pronounced dead. As I was on the road and Mrs M on her induction day, there was nothing we could do but hope.
