500 g frozen pitted cherries 125 g caster sugar 1-2 tsp fresh lemon juice to taste
Place frozen cherries in the bowl of a food processor, along with sugar and process until smooth, scraping down the sides as you go. Once smooth, add lemon juice to taste. Freeze for 6-7 hours, or until firm.
Sadly I haven't got any of those ingredients in the house.
I have made a similar “ice cream” in the past using yoghurt and frozen fruit, Whack the yoghurt and frozen fruit into a food processor (I use my Ninja) and in a few seconds you have a refreshing ice cream like dessert.
Unfortunately I haven’t got any of those ingredients either.
(I have got some small tubs of Haagen Dazs in the freezer though 😉 )
