Beans?!! What about a recommend for the best mushy peas. That would be worth knowing. I don't like em with vinegar in and so many tins have added vinegar. I do cook my own and freeze in batches but I like a tin for emergencies.
We've been through the beans/mushy peas dispute before, mushy peas are better with steak or minced beef & onion pies, or fish, imo. Chicken pies lend themselves better to beans. My recipe thread, my rules.
