No change for me but I went for a shorter choppy bob about a year ago and am very pleased with it. Suits my hair. I also have baby fine hair but I have loads of the stuff so I'd I keep it layered and not much past my shoulders it's good. Any longer and it loses oompfh at the roots. And without enough layers it's too thick from ear level down. Limits what I can have. My face suits short hair, my body does not.
No change for me either and as I don't dye my hair there'll be no colour change either. With blonde eyelashes and eyebrows, going brunette, red or green 😉 would look a tad odd. I used to have long hair that was way over my shoulders but had loads cut off a couple of years ago so it's a just a wee bit over shoulder length now. I was going to get it trimmed again last weekend (my son does it) but when I turned up at his place he said "Mum, it really suits you so I won't trim it today" ...... so we just had a coffee instead.
SIL’s mother - perhaps a step too far - how old is she? DS’s potential (maybe) MIL is a hairdresser! We have not met yet ...
It was certainly noticeable. White blonde -what there was- too. She wore it well. Not a hairdresser & I'd guess around 50? There's a QVC model, whose name escapes me, who has a slightly longer version.
Until this morning I had very long hair. Now I don't! I have a shorter layered bob type cut with a lot more highlights put in. A very big change and I love it. Everyone in the house really likes it too.
Having spent three years growing mine, loving how easy it is to look after, love wearing it up all the time for the extra height it gives me, so no change to style for me. As I never wear it down, I've grown out the high-lights as it's not a good look with regrowth. However, I hate my natural colour, which has morphed into dark blonde, alban and about 20% silver which sparkles in the sun. I always assumed I would be totally grey by now, but it's not going to happen anytime soon.
Mine isn't as grey as I had hoped it would be - about 50/50 - but I'm fed up with the expense and faff of having it coloured regularly.
Me too Nellie. Cutting out the cost and hairdresser faff was my prime reason for growing it, and thinking I wouldn't need to have it highlighted as often.
