Panic just about everywhere I think thanks to the news programs. This morning there was a guy on from Public Health England telling people to collect repeat prescriptions today if they are due to get them later this week, so I called the pharmacy and was told (after hearing a loud scream from the pharmacist when she was told about the advice lol) that they don't have my meds in stock today so call tomorrow and see if they have arrived.
It’s been quite calm and bright here with the odd lightest of a few flakes trying to fall. Think it’s due to hit the east coast early tomorrow morning and spread inland to the Penines. I recall as a kid walking home from school on March 1st in about 2 - 3 ft of snow.
I wont even have an excuse not to go to work if its bad snow as I can walk it in 7 minutes
Let me see, got lost in the blizzard, disorientated by the whiteout, unable to get out of the house because of the snow piled up outside or you couldn't find your snowshoes? vil-souffle
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
I'm in the SE amber area as well, I prepared and not going anywhere unless I have to now.
I was lucky to get anytime slot for a delivery today. Decided to get more cat food in case the snow hangs about for a while, and after realising I only had one can of tonic left!
I hope you all are OK if the snow hits you. It's freezing cold here but no snow. According to reports Ireland is supposed to be affected on Thursday/Friday and then the East of the country will be hit worst. Hopefully they are right and us in the wild West will be spared.
