Very surprised with my low score of 6 as I am very, very picky. You know starts with no gravy or custard and ratchets up swiftly. That list does not contain things picky eaters won’t eat , we are much more mundane.
Just 2 for me,from that list, eggplant and mustard - can't even stand the smell of mustard. FP is right though, being a picky eater is often not about those particular foods. I don't think I'm picky, I eat Kokoretsi and other bits of animal that many balk at, it's a texture thing with me. I will eat cream of mushroom soup and well-fried mushrooms but cannot eat them if they are slimy, as in stew. That is why I cannot eat eggplant, or okra, or lightly cooked eggs..
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
Tofu - I tried it once and won't be trying it again as it was bland and rubbery. Oysters - yuck! And snails - because I don't mind them wandering around the garden (they don't like any of my plants) and so I wouldn't eat one of their relatives.
And as I love smoked salmon, I happily eat raw fish.
