Long story, possibly extremely boring , but hey! I know it’s my own fault for ordering from them after finding the delivery very so so but during the recent Tonic Birthday celebrations when p&p was free I ordered the Tonic Tool Selection which on my account was down as sent but I did not get the email to say it would be delivered by such and such a day. I emailed their CS and after batting the subject back and forth got a date. When it hadn’t turned up by then I phoned CS. At first the agent tried to imply I needed to wait another 5 to 10 working days but changed her story when I said I had emails telling me it should have been delivered. She then said she would re-order but it could be 5 to 10 working days. I added a reply to the last email I had had from CS with the non arrival and stating that I was sending this email so they had a written record of the non events so far and that the item should be with me at the latest by May 17th taking into account the Bank Holiday to which an agent replied confirming they had contacted the supplier and it would be with me as soon as possible ( no date given! ). It still hasn’t been delivered. Then FeeFo asked me to review my purchase , something I don’t usually bother to do but being hacked off I did review the Hochand service as 1 star = poor. Obviously could not review the product. This morning there is an email from Hochanda about my review saying they are ‘looking into the matter’ for me and I will hear from them soon. I am not holding my breath that they will link this to the flurry of emails already despatched.
Very frustrating, FP. You always hope that things will be different this time, don't you - though as you found out they often are not! I hope it sorts itself eventually!

A fairytale ending... In the end I rang CS myself again and demanded to speak to a supervisor. One part of the order was a pair of ultra detail scissors for fussy cutting and I was told that they were out of stock but the rest of the stuff was on its way. I threw all my toys out of the pram as it was the scissors I had really lusted after. I decided to email Tonic myself - just in case. Hochanda CS rangback first thing Friday morning to tell me that he had rung Tonic himself and Tonic had found a pair of the scissors and were sending them out separately to the rest of the order. The Jolly Postman delivered both parcels together on Friday. Hurrah! I am inclined to think I should not have to thank Hochanda for sorting it out as I don’t think they would have bothered finding a pair of the scissors if I hadn’t been vocal.
Glad it got sorted eventually but you shouldn't have to deal with all that aggro just to get a few crafty bits! I thought hobbies were meant to be relaxing and good for you?
