33c here, thank goodness i have nothing much more to do today. I have done the washing, processed 5 kilos of lemons, made Sam's packed lunch for tomorrow and put the finishing touches to my son's 50th Birthday card.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.

What are you doing with the lemons Cass?
I boil them whole for 2 hours, drain, then carefully separate them with 2 spoons to remove any pips. I then attack them with the hand blender until they are mush.
Next , I put 1+1/2 cups in freezer bags, seal, flatten and freeze,. Every time I want to make my flourless lemon cake, I just defrost a bag and add to ground almonds, eggs and a little Splenda, and pop it in the oven.
I do the same with our oranges, too.

Blimey Cass. Do you use the lemons for anything else? Your own lemons?
Puts my dozen courgettes and half a dozen cucumbers to shame lol.
We also drink lemon juice in warm water first thing in the morning, make salad dressing and serve all meat with lemon quarters, Greek style.
Yes, they are our own lemons, organic too. We also have a satsuma tree, regular oranges, and are hoping for our first peaches this year. We give our excess fruit to our friend Gail who makes delicious jams and relishes. Her lemon and ginger marmalade is to die for.
I am envious of the lady behind us who has 3 pomegranate trees which are always laden. Sometimes, we find a carrier bagful in our porch so I make pomegranate molasses, enough for a year, as well as freezing bags of seeds to eat.

You know it's hot when even one's knees, sweat! Today, not only am I wearing the kitchen-roll bandana, but also the kitchen-roll underboob strap. No technology needed, it is held in place by said boobs. It is pointless even wearing a comfort bra when it gets wet through and starts to rub after a short time. I pass on this useful tip for free....
P.S>, the bandana is amazingly effective but do remember to remove it before answering the door as the sight of it can be scary....
Mr Y is now wearing shorts and has fitted the fireplace
I have ordered 2 more items, a small cupboard and a low coffee table. Am also debating on a Chesterfield arm chair to fill a space that requires something with a low back
