They might nominate her but I doubt if she would be chosen. Neither should Bruce Forsyth or David Bowie. I think if it is someone more modern Alan Turing for me.
They were talking of scrapping the £50 note not long ago.
They might as well do, no one accepts them. The Chinese seem to carry a lot of £50 notes, we refuse to take them on the bus (the £50 notes not the Chinese). It's all very suspicious.
Of course you have a right kerri. If you have an opinion you have a right to voice it. I tell you, there are people on here who didn't vote in the referendum but voice lyrical in our chats about it. Not mentioning any names of course
I'm with Nellie on Ada Lovelace ..........except that I think it might be nice to have someone recognisable to most. That, unfortunately, rules out everyone but Diana, Bowie and probably Mrs T. And Mr Hawking of course.
Bowie would be quite a bold choice - especially in his makeup! - and Mrs T far too divisive! That sort of leaves Diana or Stephen Hawking. No offence to either of them but maybe I'll go with Ms Lovelace after all!
All irrelevant for me really. My chances of actually having one are slim to non-existent!!
