Megan Markle is having a bit of bad press isn't she!
Piers added: 'I've had my own experience with her, which was not great to be honest. I knew her for about a year and a half. 'I got on really well with her and then 'bang' she met someone more important and immediately ghosted. 'I never heard from her ever again and the old slippery slope ladder had gone up and she social climbed her way out of my orbit.
'So my experience wasn't great, I've got to be honest with you. And everything I've seen since does slightly smack of an actress, a Hollywood actress, seizing her chance and acting her way to the top.'
Earlier this week it had emerged that the former Suits star had allegedly 'thrown a hissy fit' prior to her marriage to Prince Harry because she was unhappy with the 'musty' smell in St George's Chapel. It was alleged that she had demanded air fresheners in Windsor Castle, but that courtiers had rebuked her. It has also been claimed that Meghan can be rather demanding of staff, and it has been rumoured that she emails requests to staff in the early hours of the morning.
Then there's the acres of print about her falling out with her sister-in-law, Kate.
On my local news this morning ....... an independent girls' school in Oxfordshire has sent a letter to every parent requesting that they don't give presents to the teachers that cost more than £50!! 😳
What planet are they on?
Yes, I used to be inundated with gifts from the children at Christmas and at the end of the school year (way below £50 worth, thank goodness) but the thing I appreciated even more was a "thank you."
My son went to a private school and all I did, when he left after his A levels, was to write a letter to the Head and his House Tutor, thanking them for their support etc during his years at the school.
I noticed the Christmas cards for 'My Teacher' beginning to appear a few years ago and was aware that some parents also gave a small gift by way of a thank you I'm guessing it's partly down to one upmanship? I assume it's yet another daft import from America but when and how did it escalate to this level?
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right, the only difference is they're wrong
That Azealia Banks (no, I never heard of her either), is a piece of work isn't she!? On Monday she was rude to an air stewardess. She said, "I am on this flight and I am famous." She got off the plane. She claimed she had been 'banned' from the airline after leaving the flight, saying she had been 'treated like a wild animal' on what she called her 'travel day from hell'. The airline confirmed she left the 10.55am flight from Gatwick but declined to comment on her specific allegations. Then (I know! It goes on), she had a rant on Instagram, where she lambasted Irish people, days after branding them 'f***ing ugly' Referencing the Great Famine of Ireland, from 1845-49,she wrote to one follower: 'Don't you have a famine to go die in?' In another comment she wrote: 'You lot are a bunch of prideful inbred leprechauns'
