Aside from the Kim & Co stuff mentioned elsewhere I bought a pencil sharpener that holds all the bits in the base, some hazelnut syrup for my coffee and some L'Oreal moisturiser. I know, just too exciting, innit?!
The pencil sharpener was just a good idea - saves me getting up to find a bin whenever I need to sharpen something! I admit the coffee syrup was an impulse buy but I haven't had it for ages (since Lidl stopped selling it) and it was about £3 and a few pence for a litre bottle inc delivery - struck me as a good price so I went for it! The moisturiser was just a necessity but was £4 odd inc delivery instead of £12.99 (which is what other places were selling it for - I checked first!) so I bought that too. Nothing earth shattering but I suppose they count as bargains because I needed them - more or less!
Was it last Friday, the Friday before, or this Friday?
It seems to go on for weeks, which makes the name silly for a start. It's not something I pay attention to personally, just as good deals at other times of the year it seems to me.
On the radio this morning, they said that only about 5% of things on Black Friday are genuine sale/bargain items and so people should research before buying something as the price has been or will be lower at another time.
I’m not bothering with Black Friday because I don’t need anything and all my presents are already bought and wrapped up, so it would just be spending money for the sake of it. 😳
