I suffered a good deal with SAD in the u.k.. I had it long before it had a name. It was slightly better during the tenure of the last Bar I ran as it had big windows and an outside seating area. I have an optimistic nature so can fight the gloom more than those who havn’t, but the last few days here of nonstop rain have me quite low.
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.

I wonder if I suffer with SAD? We've had lots of bright sunshine this week but I've been a miserable sod all the same. That and my pessimistic nature aren't a good match, it's time I had a laugh again.
Well, if nothing else, it's good to know that the most depressing day of the year is out of the way. Though, I'm sure some of us are too depressed even to find that day depressing :( .
