I read once, not that long ago, that custard creams were the UK's favourite biscuit. At that time they were also my favourite, but then I found them too sweet.
I haven't had a wagon wheel for years as, very oddly, I'm not keen on chocolate biscuits. The plain ones do for me, Rich Tea, Digestive and even a bit of Shortbread now and again!
The Bourbon biscuit along with The Custard Cream had to be eaten in a challenging way. You had to separate the top biscuit from the filling in one piece. If you failed you just had to try again LOL
This is something else I do which may seem a bit strange, if I have a Tunnocks Teacake I hit it on my forehead to smash the chocolate then pick it all off then eat the marshmallow then the base LOL
Has to be hit on the forehead though and nowhere else
Hate Wagon Wheels and pink wafers, not fussed about Iced Gems or Jammy Dodgers. I love Battenburg though! There aren't very many in the full list that I actually like!
Mr Cog is rather partial to Battenburg, I can't stand it. Does anyone remember Country Store chocolate bar, it had fruit and bits of biscuit in it, and the wrapper was pink gingham? The other one I remember was called Ice Breaker I think, it had bits of mint in it, and the wrapper was a metallic blue colour.
Thank you Nellie. That's interesting. Unfortunately they don't have a shop near us which would probably save me a few quid on replacement fillings in my teeth!

I remember them Cog (I didn't until you said). I loved the minty ones

Don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to.
