I never vote for a leader of a party, I vote for the party with the manifesto that reflects my views.
Even if that party can't agree on how to change a light bulb?
And now we have the bumbling idiot Boris running the show, there'll be even more chaos and disharmony. Only he's not a bumbling idiot is he? He's extremely intelligent and I'd wager extremely dangerous.
And no deal will be a complete disaster, but we've been through this before.
Ignoring Brexit for a minute because that has it's own thread, but let's not forget today's news was bought about by many thousand Tory party members' votes, not Joe Public's. How many of the more Tory sided forum members here actually condoned Boris and his ways before any of this new leader thing came to be an issue? He was/is the party idiot, I think we've all said so in the past.
Mr. M. ......... I used to vote Conservative (but changed my vote in the last General Election) but I've never supported Boris. My opinion of him has never wavered. I stick to my guns, even when in the minority. 😉
I dont favour any party over another as my interest in politics began and will end with the EU debacle
With regards to Boris, if Im honest I couldn't care a sh*t who is "leading" this government as one is as bad as the other (and I mean all of them not just the final two)
Whoever it is is just a figurehead who's decisions can be thwarted should their own peers take against them as seen with Theresa May, in fact they can even be stopped in their tracks by the bigoted, self confessed remainer Bercow
Robert Peston said it was a likely outcome, when he was interviewed this evening. I think he meant it would happen after Brexit. He just said he couldn't see Boris in power for long. (I can but hope 😉) And the way things have been handled we might just as well have the Monster Raving Lunatic party running the country.
