I tend to rub it into the soles of my feet for a generalised benefit.
Do you not slither about, Cass? I know it's not strictly an oil but it did feel greasy to me - I'm going to try it tonight on my feet, under my bedsocks.
No, not at all, maybe different brands feel oilier...
It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.
Having read the link that Cass posted, I'm not sure how effective it would be for me as I have no trouble sleeping and have no joint pain, having had my knee replaced. And my general wellbeing is fine.
However, I may well give it a whirl if only to help to "hold back the years."
The reason we are all talking about it is because one of the Yackers complained about night cramps and I recommended it.I don't get them, but Sam used to and it evolved into a whole conversation about it's other properties. As I said, I use it for general wellness, knowing that most of us are magnesium deficient. I was recommended Epsom Salt baths by my Naturopath 50 years ago and used them regularly until I switched to showering and the sprays became available. I still use Epsom salts for drawing out splinters and for compresses on any wounds to stop them becoming infected.
Probably because your pores are open after your bath. It’s not essential but some people feel it more than others. Some like it, some hate it. It often becomes less after a couple of weeks use.
In the Epson link I posted, there is a paragraph about the stinging & itching with possible reasons. I'm finding it is decreasing the more I use it and not a problem anymore.
I mentioned night cramps on here, and cassandra recommended the magnesium oil. It arrived from Amazon on 14th September, and I started using it that night. I don't want to tempt fate, but I have had no night cramps since then, and I haven't worn bed socks since then either...
I spray five squirts of the oil into my palm, wipe my hands together, and massage it into my calves and the soles of my feet.
I have been applying it morning and night, but I might try just using it in the mornings, as it seems to make my legs itch when I use it at night. If the cramps come back, I'll revert to using it at night as well.
