Getting to #1 and knocking out 90,000 sales (you don't even get a cd these days) does not account for taste. It simply sums up the slow decline in musical quality, in other words folk will buy any old shite.

The Official Charts Company says her opening week chart sales are understood to be the biggest for a Bond theme of all time, based on its available records. In modern times, Adele's Skyfall managed 84,000 chart sales in its opening week in October 2012, while Sam Smith's The Writing's On The Wall, for follow-up Spectre, achieved 70,000.
Well, there’s no accounting for taste However, I’ve never been like other “people,” and know what I like and I don’t like that dire offering. She’s apparently a popular artiste 😳 so maybe that’s why sales were so large. They like her, although they may not like the song. Either that or I’m not “down with the kids.” 😉

I've been to see 'No Time To Die' Daniel Craig's last outing as James Bond and it was awesome. Personally, I think Daniel Craig has been the best Bond so far and it will be a hard act for anyone to follow.
