I don't actually. Admittedly, he's made some silly mistakes in his dealings with the media but Meghan does appear to have turned her back on him since her engagement to Harry - he hasn't met Harry or Archie and does have serious health problems.
What greater reasons than a new husband and child and a sick father does she need to pick up the phone? This is the woman, don't forget, who moaned in an interview that "no-one had asked her how she was doing".
I agree with you, Nellie, though I can hardly think that this will mend any bridges but I suspect it has already gone too far for that. He made a silly mistake , falling for a reporter's trick , to be photographed before the wedding. That was the time for Meghan to reach out, advise him to be a little more aware, and include him in her plans. By all accounts, he supported her financially until she left college, and a bit beyond. Of course, he should have done but many fathers renege when parents separate and it appears that they had a close relationship. I have always thought she was ashamed of him once she started moving in 'higher' circles. He had a great career, then became debt-ridden and had to file for bankruptcy - not a terrible sin but he moved to Mexico where it is cheaper and didn't look after himself very well. I don't think he fitted her image or her ego.
He has said that now he never expects to see her again so he has nothing to lose by exposing her deviousness and snobbery.
She has ghosted him as she did to many of her friends and associates once she got her eye on the Royals. I am sure, deep down, that Harry knows he has been led by the nose but he is in too deep now.

If he doesn't know, he's even dafter than I thought he was, cassandra...
Still, maybe Lizzie was a bit craftier than people have realised. If she has cut him off, hopefully Megs won't be able to take him to the cleaners for quite so much taxpayers' money when the (almost inevitable) divorce happens...
I don't think it's Harry's nose that's led him down this sad path to the almost inevitable divorce that Bob mentions........
Not only did Mr Markle support her financially but Meghan lived with him from the age of 11 until she was 18 and during that time he had a win on the lottery that he used to pay for the private education she requested. Where was Doria? Some accounts say she was in prison and some that she was undertaking career training (not sure what it would be that took seven years).
